This one (5) year warranty covers the main frame, cross members, cargo boxes, and sub-frame only. Normal wear items will not be replaced due to wear. These normal wear items include but are not limited too: drawer slides, paint, brake lining(s), bearings, seals. All auxiliary parts such as brakes, couplers, jacks, wheels, bearings, tires, axle beams, suspension, lights, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units, batteries and controls may be covered by the warranty of their manufacturer. Tipella Backcountry may agree to cover the parts and labour on defective parts within the first 365 days of customer purchase, however Tipella Backcountry reserves the right to refusal if they deem the claim unacceptable. After 365 days Tipella Backcountry may agree to replace defective parts, but not labour costs associated with replacement, however Tipella Backcountry reserves the right to refusal if they deem the claim unacceptable. Regarding all paint claims, paint is not covered under warranty where it has been damaged by stones, branches, or regular use. After 365 days of customers delivery date, Tipella Backcountry warranty has expired.

The sole responsibility of Tipella Backcountry under this limited warranty shall be to repair and replace parts at the Tipella Backcountry fabrication shop, at a Tipella Backcountry authorized dealer, or another location with prior written approval by Tipella Backcountry.  All other obligations or liabilities, including incidental or consequential damages or contingent liabilities arising out of the failure of any parts to operate properly, are hereby excluded, including but not limited to any damages resulting from loss of use, inconvenience, loss of time, commercial loss, or any other type of damages general or specific, foreseen or unforeseen, unless applicable state and/or provincial law provides otherwise Tipella Backcountry will not reimburse any claimant for any adjustment or repair of Tipella Backcountry trailer’s without prior written approval by Tipella Backcountry.  Any repairs performed at a location other than Tipella Backcountry manufacturing facility, will be allotted a maximum $65.00 per hour for labour costs and shall not exceed the amount Tipella Backcountry finds acceptable for the repair.

Tipella Backcountry is not responsible for damage caused by accident, negligence, abuse, misapplication, or misuse of a trailer or any of its component parts. Loading in excess of gross vehicle load ratings stated in the procedures will invalidate any and all warranties. Any modifications, alterations, or repair to any product manufactured by Tipella Backcountry without Tipella Backcountry’s prior knowledge and consent will void manufacturer’s warranty.

Costs Excluded Transportation of any tent to and/or from your dealer or an approved repair facility shall be the responsibility of the tent owner. Tipella Backcountry shall not be held responsible for any such costs.
